Midterm
I finally took my last of my first set of midterms. I know, that sounds kind of weird, doesn't it? But we have not one but two midterms. How? I'm not sure. I studied and studied and, guess what? It was a waste of time. The test was not near as hard as he made it out to be. It was just everything we had already gone over in class. I guess for those who proudly say, "I haven't even opened the book, and the class is almost half over!" it might have been really hard. No, for me, what was unnerving was that I kept catching the professor looking at me, hard, as if I might be cheating on the test! I don't know what is wrong with this guy, but it is really getting on my nerves! Other wise than that I haven't done too much. I learned in my Russian class today about hotels. One hotel in Moscow called "Ukraina" costs $500 a night! And that is just for the classic room, which actually happens to be pretty small. The nicest room costs over $2000 a night. Now that's crazy! Well, I have to go to bed, y'all. I have to get up at 6:15am. Oh joy, right?

What a class!!!
Well, I had fall break Monday and Tuesday, so that was nice. I didn't do too much over the weekend. Class was okay today, except for my International Studies class. My friend and I were sitting in the front row, and our professor said everyone had to stop talking to receive our test. We were quite, except Dominique giggled once. The girls behind us, though, were talking. When it was our turn to get the test he passed all four of us and gave everyone else their tests. At last he came back to us four, and, in front of the whole class asked if we were done and ready to get our tests! I was so mad! Dominique and I were the first ones to stop talking, and we STILL got in trouble. Later I had a question, so I raised my hand when he was done talking. He looked hard at me for a moment, and then he started talking about something else. Finally another girl raised her hand, and he called on her. Thank goodness we had the same question, because I was too upset to raise my hand again or even talk to the man!!!

The Zoo
Today was pretty good. I had a midterm in my Early American History class today, and, as a result, I got out early (because I am so fast!!! :-P). I met Jen, Joy, Lela and the kids, and we went to the zoo. We were there for about 5 hours, and we rode the rides, thanks to Joy. In about 5 minutes I am leaving for a bonfire for the college students in Toledo. Didn't do to much yesterday but study, read, and study some more (plus classes and a presentation, that I personally think went pretty well). Love and miss you all :-)

Long time...
Okay, so it's been a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time since I lasted posted. . .
This week is going alright. Monday wasn't the funnest, but there is a really nice bus driver that I normally see, and he made it a little better.
One of my classes was canceled today, so I only had a 8 o'clock class. Afterwards I did some shopping, came home worked on some things for tomorrow, and I went to the library. Not much else happening :-)

Too early!
Had to get up at 6:30am to get to class in time. Man, that is a little to early for me anymore! College went pretty good. I took extra notes today for some reason. I learned that in the early 1900's the Chinese American men would visit China every year, and they would make a deal with a family called a "sonship" where the family would pay the man to take their child to America under his last name for a better life, thereby beating the immigration service. Another thing I learn was that the Aztecs had zoos and parks. . .
After college I came home and hung out with Shari until about 1:30, Shari went rollerblading with her friend, and I left to go pick up Cassie's violin at Shar's. After Shar's I went to two Russian stores and then drove around downtown, just to see what was there. After that I went to a World Market, then I came home. I took my bike to the library again. When I came home the girls were leaving, and I worked on some homework. Later when the girls got home the three of us sat on the kitchen floor, talking, and eating fruit salad. I'm still pretty tired and outta go to bed.

Goodbye...again
Helped Jen give lunch yesterday, and then watched a movie with the big kids and dad :-)
Had breakfast with Cassie, Beth and Lela this morning. Happy birthday, Bethy! I am still having a hard time leaving home. :'-( Class went pretty good today. I was late because there was an accident right before 24. I wasn't too late, though, and my teacher didn't really care. Not to much happened. After class I sat in on auditions for Arabian Nights. Took the bus back to my car and came home. Not much else, lots of reading to do :-)

Home :-)
Okay, so to those so aren't in my imidiate family I made it home Thursday afternoon and just chilled plus read somethings for my class. Friday I did some more reading and then Lela and I took the little girls and Karl shopping (Poor boy! But hey! He wanted to go!) and to the library in Ft. Wayne. Today I have somethings to do at CAI, and then we are going to a benefit hog roast to help clean up. That pretty much sums up my last three days. . . :-)

Natasha
Left a little early for college so I could pick up my parking pass (yay, no tickets for me!). Afterwards parked at the way back parking lot and took the bus, and, surprise, surprise, the bus stops right in front of the building that I have my first class at! I decided on Monday / Wednesdays to take the bus in because it is way to crazy to try to find a parking space, and probably takes twice as long to find one, not to mention walking all the way to class! I told Megan that I would post something that I learned so here it is: In other countries they call notes "female" or "male" instead of "high" or "low". . .I thought that was interesting. We actually did some singing in my world music class; once again, interesting. After World Music I went and officially changed my major to International Studies! And then I went to my first Russian class. It was so much fun! There are five guys and one other girl. I think out of the seven of us I know the most, or maybe the second most Russian, and I understood everything Dr. Pogachar said! I have a new name. In my Russian class I will be called Natasha or Natalya. My professor went over time so I had to RUN to my International Studies class (I only have ten minutes in between anyways!) and was still almost late. Caught the bus after class and came home. Right now I am planning which homework needs done when.
See y'all soon!

I was so tired last night that I went to bed at 7. It didn't help me a whole lot though, because I woke up and 9:30pm, and then again now at 7:30am! My phone didn't want to be my alarm clock, so last night it got out of it by: freezing, dieing, then refusing to charge, what a stubborn phone! I finally got it to charge this morning on my computer, but it is a good thing that I didn't have to be up until 9:30 to make it to class on time. . .
Since I'm up I don't think I will be able to go back to bed, so I'll be doing my Bible study and then some reading for next Monday (Pretty much no homework for today or tomorrow, hehe!).
Lots of love!

Woohoo!
So, I've made it through the second day of class, y'all! My Early American History class today was the shortest class I've ever been to! We just went through the syllabus and it only lasted 20 minutes! I got home at 11:30am and had nothing to do so I made some lunch :-) I also rode my bike to the library this afternoon. It was actually pretty neat to be able to ride my bike to somewhere other than work or the store in Scott. . .after the library I went a little farther to a small grocery store and got some milk. I haven't done much else. I think I am going to do some reading in advance for a class. . .just as soon as I tighten my light so it stops flickering. . .
Lots of love,
Abby
